Allison Loth is a Chicago-based artist and licensed architect whose creative process has been shaped by a lifelong love of painting.

By day, her architectural practice is rooted in space, material, proportion, and detail; by night, painting offers a more intuitive and personal form of expression. Drawing inspiration from places she has traveled and people who hold personal significance, her work explores themes of identity, connection, and femininity. Bold colors, layered mediums, and expressive textures give her work a strong visual presence, while softer compositions and thoughtful details bring a sense of calm and intimacy. Her approach embraces contrasts — strength and delicacy, structure and spontaneity, vibrancy and stillness. Through these relationships, Allison creates work that feels deeply personal while inviting viewers to find their own memories and meaning within each piece.
